☔ “Soon It’s Gonna Rain” – The Fantasticks Inspired Art Print
“Soon it’s gonna rain, I can see it…” A little romantic, a little nostalgic, and very musical theatre. This original mixed-media style print is inspired by “Soon It’s Gonna Rain” from The Fantasticks and combines vintage sheet music, book pages, lavender and purple paint, expressive black markings, and hand-lettered typography.
The result feels somewhere between an old Broadway score and an artist’s paint-covered rehearsal notebook. Perfect for fans of classic musical theatre and especially anyone with a soft spot for one of the longest-running musicals in theatre history.
Music teacher Elexa creates her shop's art pieces using her students' recycled sheet music and book pages, acrylic paint and she hand draws each phrase and illustration with a sharpie.
